Pros

Ability to cover shifts at multiple corporate sites as a part-time employee; great experience into the corporate / upscale world of fitness; ability to take on clients / group classes; depending on home site, you can meet great members and co-workers.

Cons

Very hard to transition from part-time to full-time; lack of promotion from within; company does a poor job of communicating principles, company outlook, etc - I was told of my site permanently closing down less than a week for it closed, forcing me to find odd shifts from various Plus One sites to make up my hours.

Work life balance with generous PTO and client holidays. Autonomy provided in position.

Cons

Poor merit increases, no increases to match inflation, lack of improvements or advancements, management lacks vision to progress in meeting client needs
