Pros

You will gain a lot of experience very rapidly. If you are young, hungry and looking to excel you will be able to leverage the skills and experience gained for future opportunities at a different company.

Cons

Make sure you ask as many questions as you can about the client and account you’ll be assigned to. Inquire about turnover… -travel expectation is high and you’ll have to use your own cash/credit card and submit for reimbursement -poor onboarding. No direction on guidance, metrics, performance standards. -time off requests will be denied and contradict what’s in the handbook -limited work life balance. Client calls at all hours of the morning & night, last minute travel requests, no support from management to reinforce client boundaries The extent of involvement with this role is more like a director or executive w/ an associate title and compensation.

Work life balance with generous PTO and client holidays. Autonomy provided in position.

Cons

Poor merit increases, no increases to match inflation, lack of improvements or advancements, management lacks vision to progress in meeting client needs
