The Cumberland/Perry branch has shown very concerning changes over the last 3 months.
- High levels of micromanaging (even with very experienced clinicians that know what they are doing).
- Little respect for clinician's clinical judgment in deciding titration or discharge of clients (huge emphasis on discharging all clients whether it is clinically appropriate or not).
- Negative atmosphere. Huge loss in morale among employees with the changes that have been occurring over the last 3 months. Conversations and emails from above are now very negatively toned, and often framed as do what I say or there will be consequences. There is very low positive feedback provided to the clinicians, with huge emphasis on what you are doing wrong or should do better, despite those expectations not be clearly expressed before or never expressed before.
- Feedback from clinicians to management is not respected, and management will be very dismissive about concerns provided, and ignore them. Management has a very condescending attitude towards employees and creates an atmosphere that makes employees feel unable to even approach management as a result.
