Pros

Schedule. Not much else is positive

Cons

-MANAGEMENT! -NO ANNUAL PAY RAISES! -POOR HR REPRESENTATIVE -SAFETY COORDINATOR IS A "TEXT BOOK SAYS" VS LIFE EXPERIENCE AND TELLS OPERATORS HOW TO DO THEIR JOBS! PIZZA PARTYS & EMPLOYEE LUNCHEONS in place of PAY RAISES! -No room for error. -suspended if injured, employee is always at fault. -lack of clear communication. -all shifts do their own thing, their own way. No universal system. -bickering and belittling consistently. -favoritism & nepotism is very clear and present. -UPPER management treats floor employees like children instead of grown adults, FLOOR management address operators like idiots when asking questions. -lack of overtime opportunities. -no job security, management consistently reminds emploees they are 100% replaceable at any given time. -floor leads are two face and might be pleasant around you if they like you, if they don't it's a "oh, you again, what do you want now attitude"

Pros

Full disclosure: I'm a new employee due to an acquisition. Therefore I do like the people I work with as we have a long standing relationship already. My salary and benefits have not changed but also don't reflect ProAmpac so I don't feel that I can attribute either to them.

Cons

Acquisitions and the transitions that follow are difficult in the best of circumstances, however this has been incredibly painful and frustrating. Multitudes of meetings have been held to have no real progress, meaning time is constantly wasted - while workloads are incredibly large. ProAmpac employees have made it clear they generally work late or over weekends pretty regularly to get their tasks done. They take a lot of pride in being a large and growing company, however they are configured far behind the business industry standard regarding work processes. If you join, expect a lot of manual work and a lot of work in general.
