the people who actually do the work are great (engineers, techs, assemblers, etc.): smart, collaborative, kind
Cons
- management/decision-makers are severely lacking; reactive instead of proactive. ignores feedback of what's possible in proposed timeline, focused on looking good instead of doing good. doesn't understand workload/cost of what they ask and is surprised when things don't go well. - (department-specific) management doesn't know what they need, and that is reflected in the types of hires they make. management expectations are unreasonable: complete devotion to the company/product (expects devotion to be at shareholder level: willing and happy to put in over time when you're on salary, yes-man type who will bend over backwards to make management ideas work while ideas for efficiency/compromise are dismissed) when you're not compensated at a shareholder level. ultimately treated as a tool instead of a person.
