Pros
There are a number of positives I've experienced here. It is a very upwardly mobile environment with opportunities to move up if you are talented. It's a smaller company and I love seeing how even when I was brand new, my ideas were heard and had a real impact on how things work. Not every single idea of course, but enough that it was clear someone listened. It's also a great chance to break into the travel industry which is the most fun sales experience I've had personally. Customers are very excited to work with you and plan a vacation. You also travel yourself which is a very nice perk. I've had the chance to participate in three different familiarization trips over the last few years. My most recent trip took me to Switzerland where my group had the chance to ride trains all through the Swiss country and mountains. We went up the highest railway in Europe and stepped out to see the mountains and glacier at over 13k feet. We also crossed through one amazing mountain range and valley after another. My pictures don't really do it justice. Almost certainly I would not have had the chance to do that on my own much less as part of work. Absolutely spectacular experience and a huge benefit of working here!
Cons
It's fast-paced so you have to love that. Not a problem for me but if you're looking for a quiet check in, check out kind of day, this isn't it.
