Pros
- fam trips - promote from within - working remote - cameras on policy to continue office like environment. - not just a name or employee id number - HR is very apparent here and not because they act as a guidance counselor (shouldn’t be case) but they actually do the HR role.
Cons
- some people misinterpret what work from home means. You still work. It’s not time to go to beach or hang out most of day - sometimes a lot is pushed into one person while others are hungry for opportunity and more leadership - pay is great for sales!.. but can be a challenge for supporting teams. However once you put hardwork it does pay off. - communication at times doesn’t not get passed down efficiently but it is something that is being worked on. - some guidance on rookie management is needed. Being remote things can go unheard of or seen. Just continue to provide guidance. Can’t learn by seeing others as much. - there are times where you may kick things up and not that it goes unheard of, but it goes in actioned and then the challenge increases down the line. This happens anywhere.
