It is a very cult-like work culture built on favorites and your work perks (flexible schedule, etc) are granted based on favoritism usually given to those within the inner circle. It is generally pretty easy to spot these individuals early on, as they seem to maintain a certain level of freedom unparalleled to the rest. Many have reported feelings of being bullied, micromanaged, or even feeling like an outsider to those that management favored. It does not feel like an equal employer-opportunity organization.
