1. Training
2. Salary
3. Required to move! 97% of the time if you want to move into a Branch Manager role. If you don't want to move, this may not be the role for you. (Although you do get relocation assistance which is great!)
4. Success highly depends on branch location and how well your Branch Manager trains you as an Assistant Branch Manager (Essentially luck is involved in your experience overall)
5. Commission is split with team members
The main cons are the lack of training. This role has a lot of tasks that you'll need to memorize in order to excel. It can be very overwhelming at first, This is especially true when attention to detail is extremely important to documents. The training in my opinion felt very rushed and could've been simplified. For what you do on a daily basis the pay is pretty underwhelming. The base salary should definitely be higher for this role. As an Assistant Branch Manager you'll focus more on sales but as a Branch Manager you focus more on operations. Be prepared for this if you intend to take the next role! Your branch location is vital for success! Keep that in mind as well!
