Quota supersedes design resulting in being encouraged to sell clients pipe dreams Sales associates required to label their role as “interior designer” on business cards even if they have little to no design experience. Current manager titled themselves “Senior Interior Designer” without knowing basic design knowledge. Management very unorganized in design process despite offering design services Product information varies between website, spec sheets, and pricing software in turn confusing both staff and clients alike No regard for client centricity No reliable resources, standard operating procedures, and often poor communication both internally and at a corporate level Poor leadership role fulfillments, resulting in incompetent and inexperienced managers. (Priority in who you know in the company vs skill set) this leads to entire staff being overworked to pick up the slack of a failing manager. After sales issues are prominent and a nightmare, management encourages staff to justify issues with clients by stating that we are a foreign company. Not enough samples to show clients, no updated libraries. Customer service expectations often not met due to lack of transparency to clients from a managerial level . HR grievances not taken serious, often dismissed. Feedback from staff regarding management dismissed as well. No growth within the company. Internal communications a complete mess.
