The only cons I see are in my current department. Rockwell overall is a great company, so it pains me to give the bad review. Again, it is only for the Talent Acquisition group, that has seen volumes of people leave. Here are the cons:
-There are only three Principal Talent Advisors, and one of them does not even have 7 years of experience. To be a Principal, you need 8+. This is a compliance issue.
-TA Leadership discriminates people of a certain age group. I have seen it done a couple of times, when a few of my colleagues have been held back or kept from attending certain events.
-TA Leadership nominates people to be "crew leaders" without any sort of criteria, and without giving anyone an appropriate chance to bid for the opportunity.
-Colleagues with 10+ years of experience are not allowed to have the "Principal" title . The only two people with that title were the VP's referral, and another person who was appointed by TA leadership.
-It is hostile and crude. TA leadership is gossipy, talks behind your back and gives you unexpected deadlines. TA leadership will call and say "I need xyz by the end of the day, without any care for how your day looks like.
-There is HUGE turnover in the TA team, and they are all leaving because of TA leadership.
-We wrote all our concerns in Global Voices, a company-wide survey, and nothing has been done about it.
-I can see how my contracting colleagues are treated by TA leadership as second-rate employees. It is awful for me to witness, and I wish I could do something about it
-TA leadership delegates their responsibility to TA Advisors, and asks us not to tell our stakeholders. In reality, it is their job and they do not want to be called out on it.
-TA leadership is unfair when giving out promotions. The internal equity part needs to be revised.
