Pros
I was lucky to be hired to work with wonderful coworkers- but I also don’t work in the main building in Edison where I’ve heard absolute horror stories of the management as well as catty behavior from those people and experienced my own nightmare people. No pros.
Cons
The pay is HORRENDOUS. make as much as my previous $15/hour job, yet I’m working full time communicating with high level executives. This is a billion dollar company where the CEO’s net worth is $3 billion. The slave wages are laughable, yet they send soo many emails pretending to care about women and minorities. Yeah, I don’t feel cared about! I mentioned I was lucky to have good coworkers, but it seems as though anyone near the corporate building has an awful experience with the people there. In my emails with Sales Reps, I’ve found them to being extremely passive aggressive and rude to each other, other employees, and customers. My manager always needs to step in to remind them how to talk to others. It’s an embarrassing company to work for, people who leave treat it like a cult. Also, they seem to pay people to defend the company in a very snarky way (on brand for SHI) on social media and even here. DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!
