Communication was not up to par to understand expectations between tasks. In all honesty, I’ve could’ve done better myself to make the situation better but Security management did not feel approachable at times. Meetings felt like they were run without too much value - the occasional - “yep, here’s what I done yesterday, here’s what I am doing today”. Autonomy granted was an odd mixture of self-direction for some tasks with the caveat that you check in VERY frequently. Odd behavior, but this might be due to the level of the role.
