Pros
I have been with SRS for 8 years and love working here. My collegues are friendly and highly collaborative and I have had a tremendous opportunity to grow professionally. The company has experienced significant growth since I first started and it is amazing to see how much each department has evolved. The senior management team works very well together and definitely walks the talk when it comes to having an open door policy. The company does a lot of communicating around results and strategy. There is a very strong commitment to product and support quality and customer service. Employees are called ETPs (Eager to Please) and company actions/rewards/recognition and messaging drives home what behaviors are valued here. There is a ton of pats on the back by managers and peers across the company for a job well done. I have seen so many people promoted here for the right reasons - it is a true meritocracy with opportunities available for people with minimal tenure and lots of tenure alike.
Cons
The company is growing at such a rapid pace (over 50 employees were added in 2012) that it is definitely not a place for those who want to come in and do the same thing day in and day out. This is not a "con" for the majority of us ETPs, but it is important to note that SRS is such a dynamic, team-oriented environment that people who are not flexible, interested in growth and team players will not thrive or survive here.
