Depends - Medical Assistant SSM Health Employee Review

Pay, and zero to no growth opportunity. I attempted to learn more and move within the office to be well rounded to prepare myself for a possible management opportunity, but was shut down due to lack of staff or non-dependable staff so I was stuck in the position. Even though during my interview I was told there were several opportunities to move. Also, within the year in the position there has been several people leaving within SSM or quitting all together.
