Pros

good benefits( just because the place where I work is part of the Hilton). new hotel. located in Philadelphia.

Cons

Management is so greedy. they only care about having their pockets full of money and keep them for themselves making sure they get a big bonus in the end of the year and pretending that we do not know what is going on. hourly rate even after the raise is NOTHING compare to what you do and how much you give to the company and guests every single day. people are so fake and so employees. We always have to pretend that we are happy. Food in the cafeteria is not good either. We do not want lobster and crabs but not even food with mold left outside all day. Employees keep getting sick because the food is not fresh especially during the weekend when HR, Sales and Accounting department are not here. We do not feel appreciated at all. there is not a chance or opportunity to grow in a company like that. seems that when they are positions open, they hire somebody who already has experience in the field and is coming from another property.. instead of training you.

Dear Logan Receptionist, Thank you for sharing your feedback and concerns regarding your experience at The Logan. Providing a great working experience where there is genuine care and concern for all of our associates is so incredibly important. I want you to feel supported, encouraged and listened to and my goal is to work together to ensure there is an environment where you do not have to pretend to be happy. My goal is to provide transparency around property initiatives and clear communication. Your feedback regarding the employee cafeteria has been shared with the team and while we all agree having this benefit is wonderful for our associates, we need to ensure it is consistent 7 days a week for all three meal periods. I am looking forward to working through changes with the front office team and creating an environment in the front office that is personally and professionally rewarding. Sincerely, JoAnn Wrenn

Pros

Great people, strong culture, and exposure to a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, and ownership groups. I had the opportunity to work with talented colleagues who genuinely cared about one another and the success of the company. There are opportunities to take on meaningful responsibility, and if you’re willing to work hard, you’ll gain tremendous experience.

Cons

As the company has grown, some departments have become stretched thin, and processes have not always evolved at the same pace. Teams can spend significant time reacting to day-to-day priorities, leaving less time for process improvement, automation, and strategic initiatives. Workloads can be demanding, particularly during peak periods.
