Pros
Great Pay - but that comes at a price.
Cons
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Sandpiper Hospitality. Not only is the company toxic, but it also overworks its management to the point of burnout. It's evident that they've grown too fast and have applied concepts more suited for budget motels to their supposedly nicer branded properties, resulting in a stark contrast in quality and service. What's even more concerning is the blatant favoritism towards revenue management, who are allowed to deliver poor performance simply because they have a parent who is a stakeholder in the company. Furthermore, the HR department is shockingly cliquey and fails to follow through with any of their responsibilities. If you are going to micromanage your managers, and not allow them to write up their staff without HR’s “approval” (Yes, Really)….perhaps doing said “approvals” in a timely fashion would allow your management to discipline their staff more effectively. In addition to the multitude of issues plaguing Sandpiper Hospitality, it's also imperative to highlight the incompetence of their accounting department. Frankly, it's a joke. The lack of professionalism and attention to detail within this crucial department further adds to the overall dysfunctionality of the company. From mishandling finances to failing to address budgetary concerns, the accounting department exemplifies the systemic problems deeply rooted within Sandpiper Hospitality. It's evident that this company is in dire need of a major overhaul, starting with a complete restructuring of its management and operational practices. Avoid at all costs.
