Pros

Stock options that can potentially be worthwhile if the company eventually goes public

Cons

Average work week of 60+ hrs Working every single weekend is a norm No transparency on future plans, Upper management is completely dishonest and untrustworthy Underpaid full time offer High stress environment Several of my coworkers are contractors whose contracts were promised to be renewed yet when brought up recently they were essentially given no answers — extremely poor ethics in this regard considering we’re in a pandemic, this simply shows that the company does not care about its workers. At least be transparent about future plans so people can prepare accordingly.

Pros

- Lot of flexibility as you get a say in how much core platform vs. customer-specific work you want to take up - Exciting growth avenues being pursued by organization in both enterprise and public sectors - Heavy emphasis on internal tooling being built that augments developer experience and pace of client delivery

Cons

- Sometimes, the team moves at a rapid pace at expense of sustainability/maintainability for short-term wins. - Lots of internal tooling being built are prematurely deployed for developers, and a lot of time goes into back-and-forth for gains that will only be visible in a large lookahead.

Pros

- High ownership - Able to make change quickly

Cons

- Lack of CI/CD maturity can be annoying at times - Not always clear what to build (highly ambiguous domain)
