Pros
Nice benefits (pre-2023), great opportunity to hop into a pressure cooker and ruthlessly develop your skillset.
Cons
Politics involved in every possible decision at every level, and management is inexperienced and fails to communicate effectively to their team. Leadership overlooks negative feedback for employees in their inner circle and doesn't follow through on promised improvements. Elitism runs rampant within the company where those with prestigious education/experience feel obligated to talk down on everyone else. There is no "life", just work, and leadership claims every year that they will improve work-life balance, but employees are still stuck working 100+ hour work weeks for very mediocre pay. No empathy for data labelers, who are treated like expendable tools rather than people.
