Pros
-There are some really great people at the analyst/mid-level management who are bright, caring, and fun to work with -If you can stick around long enough for your RSUs to vest this company will probably be worth something someday -Base comp is ok
Cons
Where to start? -As other reviewers have mentioned, the CEO's inner circle is the only group empowered to make real decisions. So much politics at the upper level. Intense micromanaging from C-suite execs but done without structure or process = teams are always overworked trying to respond to the latest fire. -Have seen the CEO publicly shame people in meetings: "this is stupid, this is a waste of my time." Affects a great friendly, approachable persona in public but is incredibly mean-spirited and unkind during smaller groups. -Work life balance is a huge issue across all groups at the company. Weekend work + work past 6pm is common, as is responding to/getting slacks at 10pm in the evenings -Recent RIF was completely unanticipated, not done thoughtfully across many groups -Groups often work in silos and cross-functional collaboration is super hard because 1. no clear ownership and 2. only execs are empowered to make the final decisions
