Pros

The only pro is daily pay access but it is spotty and inconsistent, and the fee to access is too high.

Cons

The list is endless. Almost no human support, they just rolled out "premium" shifts where they reduced the shifts from 4 hours to 1.5 hours, with 2-3 hours break in between some shifts, promised more pay, didn't happen, and everything is done in the app now, but the app does not work properly in the stores so when you try to check off your list, the app freezes and closes itself and glitches out so you usually cant complete all of your tasks in time because you spend half of the shift time waiting for the app to unfreeze, that is, when it isnt stopping itself, restarting itself, and theb reverting back to your previous shift, forcing you to re-check all of your task items. When its not doing that, the app works great lol. Along with the premium shifts, i have a high rating so they changed my regular bin prep shift to a trainer shift where some new employee is supposed to shadow me and I'm supposed to show them the ropes, without training ME on being a trainer, and without changing my pay rate from food prep to trainer, AND GET THIS GUYS, if the person I trained doesn't complete all the items on their task list, I DONT GET PAID. This company is atrocious, horrible, horrible, horrible company with a soulless management team that should be ashamed of their behavior but lack human empathy. I canceled that shift and am not EVER going to train employees and RISJ NOT GETTING PAID if the trainees don't do their jobs. This company is everything that is wrong with the world today. I do not recommend this company under any circumstances.

Pros

This company is misclassifying its Shiftsmart workers as Independent Contractors and is currently being sued in California. Colorado to follow soon.

Cons

This company is misclassifying its Shiftsmart workers as Independent Contractors and is currently being sued in California. The company made $95 million in profit last year because they did not pay overtime, employment taxes, workers comp dues, and social security taxes. THEY DO NOT ALLOW ANY WORKERS TO CONTACT A REAL PERSON WHEN SHIFT ISSUES OCCUR.
