Pros

I like the work from home opportunity . I find their system not fully well organizedbut it worked for the first client that I accepted. I have worked from home for several companies and this one allows flexibility.

Cons

I was contacted for a new client and promised bonuses that were not paid. When I inquired I was told send us a screen shot of what you say we need to pay you. I feel they made a lot of promises and were not properly prepared. They attached shift bonuses and pre shift bonuses started offers for thosesigned on as early at 5:30 a.m. as requested . 12 hour shif tcompleted for the day both offered a bonus. In total I worked 16 hours Sunday - Monday and was paid less than what the hourly wage position offered per hour then treated as if I was lying. Furthermore I accepted the shifts believing I would be paid by the end of the week . Payment system show it has processed the payment .I am very frustrated and disappointed to say the least. I had referred several friend sorry I did.

Pros

This company is misclassifying its Shiftsmart workers as Independent Contractors and is currently being sued in California. Colorado to follow soon.

Cons

This company is misclassifying its Shiftsmart workers as Independent Contractors and is currently being sued in California. The company made $95 million in profit last year because they did not pay overtime, employment taxes, workers comp dues, and social security taxes. THEY DO NOT ALLOW ANY WORKERS TO CONTACT A REAL PERSON WHEN SHIFT ISSUES OCCUR.
