Pros
minimal pros to be honest, One pro is that there is vertical mobility if you have experience already, but youll be moving to the top of a complete mess of a company
Cons
disorganized, no vision. no structure. benefits are trash. Reorganizing their entire structure on a regular basis. Leadership thinks that hiring more executives and doing 30 title changes is what will fix everything (and then they wonder why they are struggling and have to lay people off). Beyond that, I learned that I would have had to have worked there for 5 years in order to get my 401k contribution match... the company itself is like 10 years old. There are only a handful of people who have worked there longer than 5 years, and the employee turnover is insane. Can only imagine how many people got screwed over by this. Also they are cheap. They refuse to buy any decent software to work with. Zero of the company's departments have state of the art software, unless you consider ShipMonk proprietary software state of the art. Dont expect to travel in style either unless you're on the exec team. Even VPs of this company fly economy Spirit (or whatever is cheapest).
