High retirement contribution Half day Fridays during summer High PTO accrual rate and long winter break off

Cons

Low pay. Raises are the same across everyone (if they happen) regardless of performance. Poor performance is almost never addressed and others are forced to pickup the slack. Forced night and weekend work without overtime or any extra compensation. No training. Terrible communication starting with department leadership. Heavy drinking culture. Harassed by annual fund to donate back to the school.

Administration is focused on power and control, shared governance is just lip service, no focus on faculty and staff well-being. Just always asked to do more. inadequate or non-existent raises.
