Pros

Food is provided every day. Please avoid this company.

Cons

HR doesn’t exist at this company. When you have any concerns, personal or professional, the CEO will intercept it and decide whether to fire or keep you. Think “will the emperor allow me to live if I say something ” every time you have a concern.

Thank you for taking the time to post this review. We have looked into this a review and have met with our Director of Human capital. This employee was unfortunately terminated for using the company internal messaging to threaten an executive of the company because they did not like COVID protocol and the length of time and testing they had to be out to ensure the safety of other employees. We have reported this to Glassdoor, but they will not remove this review based on their policies which we understand. We do have a no tolerance policy for violence at Silk Title CO.

Pros

The pros of working here - they are willing to train the inexperienced.

Cons

The turnover here is absolutely abhorrent. Within my first month here more than 5 people were fired or quit. After month 3 it was more than 15. They fire you with absolutely no prior warnings/disciplinary action. They’ll also keep an eye on if you’re applying to other jobs through Indeed. Apparently, they only want you to leave the company if they fire you. They use employment agencies so they don’t have to pay workers from their own payroll and then once you’re off your 90 day probation period and your paychecks start coming out of their payroll, they fire you. I think while I was there the longest anyone had worked there was 3 years, but almost everyone had been there under a year and realistically by the end of the year I can’t imagine any of them will still be employed there. If you want a company you can actually grow with- stay FAR away from Silk.
