Pros

Plenty of opportunity if you’re willing to put the work in. Like anything else, if you give the bare minimum, then you’ll get a paycheck. If you are willing to go beyond your job description, you will see opportunities open up for you. Hardwork, innovative ideas, customer service, all go noticed by the management teams. If you’re not looking to put any work in and receive the world in return, then Silk will not be for you.

Cons

There will be no cons if you work hard

Pros

The pros of working here - they are willing to train the inexperienced.

Cons

The turnover here is absolutely abhorrent. Within my first month here more than 5 people were fired or quit. After month 3 it was more than 15. They fire you with absolutely no prior warnings/disciplinary action. They’ll also keep an eye on if you’re applying to other jobs through Indeed. Apparently, they only want you to leave the company if they fire you. They use employment agencies so they don’t have to pay workers from their own payroll and then once you’re off your 90 day probation period and your paychecks start coming out of their payroll, they fire you. I think while I was there the longest anyone had worked there was 3 years, but almost everyone had been there under a year and realistically by the end of the year I can’t imagine any of them will still be employed there. If you want a company you can actually grow with- stay FAR away from Silk.
