Pros
I worked in the meat department, doing mostly the cleaning. Was fairly easy cleaning. The department was short shifted so I worked more hours than most.
Cons
Was expected to do too much without being told how to properly do it. Helping customers at the counter? Couldn't help them 95% of the time either due to a malfunction of the scales/wrapper. No source of help to ask questions. Left completely alone on my 2nd day until I quiet a week later. Brought it up with management/co-employees anyone I could get to listen. Nothing doing. Finally I walked out mid shift because once again they had left me to run the department by myself when I clearly was not capable. Even after expressing my concerns to anyone and everyone, nothing was ever done. Not to mention my hours were rescheduled twice before I had even worked a day there. Five times in total in the week and a half that I worked there.
