Pros

- Work life balance - Free snacks/drinks

Cons

- The culture is a mess. They have tried to pull it together, but the reality is that each product/location is vastly different. It's was a painful experience during my time at the company. - Leadership are primarily located/focused on one location, career advancement really only occurs for those closest to them. - A few big clients influence all of the decisions, expect leadership to tell you to "keep them happy" and do whatever they ask. - Leadership/middle management are out of touch with their people. Seems like they are too busy playing politics to actually care about the employees. - There are people who only focus on making and enforcing process, which meant a lot of useless process and 0 value. - To get people in the door, they will sell how great it is and what the position will become. It's false advertising. If I were a candidate, be cautious of any promises as they will likely be empty.

We’re sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet expectations. We know that the transition in Kansas City was difficult for many and we did our best to tackle all of the feedback we received through surveys as well as discussions with leadership. We have seen enormous improvement this year in our overall culture and evolution as being one company with less intense feelings around location disparity, much of that due to the impact of Covid and working remotely. It’s enabled us to discover stronger connective tissue across the business and the productivity of all teams has exceeded our expectations. It’s upsetting to hear that you left feeling as if there were politics or customer size driving decisions that impacted your experience and/or opportunities for growth. We invest a great amount in our people and want them to feel confident about their personal and professional growth and development. Sometimes we can’t backfill every role for a variety of reasons but we would never consciously force a team to have to overextend themselves when that happens. Our leaders care deeply about their teams and we wish we would’ve been able to hear from you directly when these issues began to impact your day to day experience.

Pros

Strong onboarding experience and initial support from leadership Clear expectations and alignment during the first few months Positive, collaborative team environment early on Opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment Supportive culture prior to leadership changes

Cons

Significant decline in overall team experience after leadership transition Director stepped into the role without direct experience in the function, leading to gaps in effective management Leadership initially presented as supportive, but this did not reflect long-term behavior or management style Constant and frequent changes to priorities, expectations, and processes, creating instability and lack of structure Efforts to remain adaptable, positive, and supportive during ongoing changes felt taken advantage of rather than recognized Inconsistent and contradictory feedback — verbal feedback was consistently positive, while written documentation did not align Lack of clarity around performance expectations, making it difficult to understand what success looked like Noticeable shift in management behavior and communication over time, particularly toward the end of tenure Concerns around being managed out rather than being supported or developed Attempt to initiate a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) that broadly covered the entire scope of responsibilities, rather than specific, actionable areas for improvement Misalignment between day-to-day performance feedback and formal performance concerns raised Perceived favoritism toward newer team members, specifically white male employees Observed comments and behaviors that felt culturally insensitive, particularly in reference to offshore (India-based) team members, creating concerns around inclusivity and respect Overall lack of transparency, consistency, and equitable treatment in performance management
