Pros

People that do all the work are stellar. Remote You get paid on time

Cons

Leadership at the top often feels out of touch with the actual product and what makes it valuable. They talk like a big enterprise but operate more like a scrappy startup. Plans change constantly — even ones that were already approved — because someone higher up changes their mind, and everyone else has to scramble to adjust. There’s a lot of mixed signals, short-term thinking, and confusion that trickles down, making it tough for managers and teams to move forward with confidence. People are eliminated from the team at the drop of a hat for voicing out their opinion. The only way to survive here is to keep your mouth shut, do whatever you’re told and lose all your individuality and self worth.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience at Storable has left you feeling frustrated and unheard. While this is not the experience we strive to create, we take feedback seriously, especially when it challenges us to reflect and improve. You raise valid concerns around change and communication, which we recognize can be difficult in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Our growth often requires us to shift priorities quickly and this pace can sometimes cause friction or confusion. We acknowledge that we need to be clearer in how and why decisions are made and are actively working on improving alignment between leadership and teams, so our goals feel more connected and achievable at every level. Regarding your concern about psychological safety and fear of retaliation for speaking up -- this is deeply troubling and absolutely not in line with our values. We want our employees to feel safe sharing their opinions. We believe that respectful challenge is a key part of how we get better. If this hasn’t been your experience, we sincerely apologize and if you're a current employee, we urge you to reach out to your HRBP or via Incogneato. Storable’s mission, culture, and people remain our greatest strengths, and we are committed to ensuring that every Storrior feels respected, heard, and empowered. Thank you again for your feedback. It matters.

Pros

-There are talented and dedicated employees throughout the organization who genuinely want the company to succeed. -The company has the potential to build a strong product and business if it invests in its people and establishes a clear, consistent strategy. -Employees have opportunities to take on meaningful responsibilities due to the pace of organizational change.

Cons

-Compensation is below market for many positions, making it difficult to attract and retain experienced talent. -The company appears to prioritize ambitious initiatives, including AI, over addressing core organizational and leadership challenges. -Significant executive and management turnover has created instability, including the departure of the CTO, multiple Vice Presidents, Directors, and many individual contributors within a relatively short period. -There is a disconnect between the level of talent the company expects to hire and the compensation it is willing to offer. -Frequent leadership changes and uncertainty around long-term strategy have negatively affected morale and confidence in the company's direction. -Private equity ownership appears to emphasize short-term financial objectives, which can come at the expense of long-term investment in employees and the product.
