Pros
Great discounts, perks, contests, and benefits
Cons
Overworked and underpaid Pay is not competitive, commission is extremely low for the high profits they make Absolutely no work life balance, chronic burn out is the norm among full time employees Your store could be understaffed, and you are treated as though it is your fault when the reality is they don't pay enough to retain or attract new employees. The expectation is that you, while working full time, should spend your limited time off looking for new hires.... and when you are unsuccessful in finding new people, you get threatened to be written up. New hires are paid significantly more these days than those who have stuck around for years. Some people in the company get special treatment, while the rest are left on their own to struggle. Lots of meetings that could have just been an email. Some customers are extremely rude, hostile, and aggressive. Upper management always treats the customers as if they are correct and then is demeaning towards you about the situation. Safety is a concern as theft is a reoccurring issue.
