Lies, false promises & cheated out of earned compensation - Sales Agent TP Employee Review

Pros

There are none. DO NOT WORK HERE.

Cons

Misrepresented the compensation and did not pay any earned commissions. Disorganized with scheduling and errors regularly with payroll for hourly pay. Inadequate training to sell highly complicated products to seniors. Management provides minimal support, only micromanagement. Zero empathy or compassion for employee. My mother passed away suddenly and the company only gave me one day off. Had I missed more days I would have been fired. Very unsympathetic to allowing me any more time after losing my mother and I was so distraught I could barely function. Then to add insult to injury, they stiffed me and all agents on earned compensation siting a loophole that prevented literally every agent from “qualifying” for earned commission. They sheepishly let everyone go after the AEP season without warning despite promising a permanent position at the time of job acceptance. Managers simply blocked all sale agent’s numbers and made it impossible to contact for resolution. Additionally after letting everyone go without warning they failed to notify the appropriate agencies and I was unable to collect unemployment until I found a new job because they still had me listed as an active employee. Hands down, worst experience in my professional life. I would wish this company on my worst enemy.

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
