Pros

Beautiful scenery, one free cafeteria meal per shift, low cost dorm housing for out of town employees, bonus at end of season, full time employees have health and 401k, paid holidays. Local employees have bridge toll paid. Employees receive 20% discount off retail. Mostly nice guests. Management gets free housing, etc.

Cons

Not much chance for full time or advancement. HR is not very friendly, low pay, seasonal for most employees (laid off 3 months from July to October). Cafeteria food is always the same, employees can not use any of the facilities unless you're management, required to work holidays, only closed christmas day, management doesn't seem to get along, always butting heads, stressful during high season.

Pros

If you work as a server or houskeeper, you get to be outside... I guess?

Cons

Too Many Managers: There are way too many managers, each with an inflated ego. This creates a confusing and inefficient work environment with too many rules and conflicting directions. Unwilling to Pay Competitive Wages: The management constantly complains about not finding local talent but is unwilling to pay a competitive wage. Honestly, the pay is a joke. Apparent Favoritism: Favoritism is rampant and very obvious, making it an unpleasant and unfair place to work. The managers are very clique-like, reminding me of high school. It's kind of amusing to see that some people never grow out of high school behavior. Poor Treatment of Employees: People are treated poorly all the way down the line. Even the dishwashers are overworked and underappreciated. Terrible Employee Meals: They push the fact that you get employee meals, but the food is repulsive and catered mainly to Jamaican workers. Long Hours with No Reward: The hours are long, and there's nothing rewarding about the job. You’d be better off working at a fast food spot, honestly. LMAO.
