Pros

There was a free hair salon on site when I worked here. Seemingly a "pro" but actually indicative of a much bigger problem where the organization expects their (almost exclusively female) employees to be surface level perfect at all times.

Cons

The work culture at the Knot WW is like a toxic sorority house. In fact, while I was there the entire marketing team participated in a mean girls like "burn book" where they would take what they thought were the worst wedding photos of couples and their parties from the site and make a collection of them - poking fun at users and passing the link to each other at the work place. If you're looking for a respectful, professional environment - I would recommend staying away from this organization.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We value 360-degree feedback at TKWW, and appreciate your candid perspective on your time with us. I am deeply disappointed to read this review, and the situation you described is completely against our values as an organization, and mine as an individual. I want to assure you that we do not condone or tolerate unlawful discrimination or harassment. Our culture is built on our core values, one of which is “We do the right thing”. This means we always strive to provide a respectful, supportive, and empowering workplace for all employees. We are continuously working to improve our processes to ensure that every employee has the opportunity to contribute to their fullest potential here at TKWW. The behavior described here is unacceptable and not in support of that ambition. As such, I can confirm that we will be launching a formal review into this allegation. If any past or current employees have context they are able to share, please reach out to me directly or your People Business Partner. Again, we appreciate this honest feedback about your experience. I, along with my leadership team, are committed to creating a positive and inclusive working environment for all employees, and we value your input in helping us achieve this goal. - Jenny Lewis, Chief Marketing Officer

Pros

I have worked for this company for a decade now, and I fall more in love with it every year. The company rewards hard work, innovation, and impact. I have been incredibly lucky to have fantastic leadership during my entire tenure—leaders who push me to be better, do better, and learn more. Open and honest communication is both encouraged and reciprocated. If you truly push yourself and do your best, you will thrive here and be compensated for it. I am really encouraged by our current leadership and the direction the company is heading. I truly feel as if we are on the forefront of all things wedding planning. At TKWW, employees, couples, and vendors are heard, and what is said is put into action. That is incredibly impressive to me, as I've not seen that play out at other companies. I have loved the opportunity to work here and find that it's a fantastic place to continually advance my career, skillset, and personal growth.

Cons

As with any tech company, things move fast. That can be a con for some people, but I find that it is a great motivator for impact. If you do not like a company that moves fast, you might not be interested in working here.

Pros

I’ve been at The Knot Worldwide for a few years now and have seen a lot of evolution in the business. What stands out most recently is the momentum we’re building. The product updates for our vendors have been a big step in the right direction. It feels like we’re getting closer to delivering what both vendors and couples actually need, which makes it a much easier and more meaningful story to sell. It’s also just a great industry to be in. You’re working with people during one of the most important moments in their lives, which adds a different level of purpose to the day to day. Cross-functional collaboration is a real strength here. Sales, Product, Marketing, and Vendor Marketing, etc are working more closely than I’ve seen in the past, and it’s making a difference in how quickly we can move and improve. The sales team’s work ethic is through the roof. There’s a strong culture of accountability and ownership, and people show up every day ready to perform and support each other. Leadership has taken a noticeable step forward. Since Raina stepped in, there’s been a shift toward asking tougher questions and being more honest about what needs to change. That transparency and willingness to evolve has been important. There’s still a lot of runway ahead. With the right focus, the opportunity here is big.

Cons

Like any evolving company, there are still areas being worked through, but directionally it feels like we’re heading the right way
