We regularly evaluate our on-target compensation against the market to remain competitive. For the 2023 plan year, we made modifications to incent overperformance, leaning into our pay for performance culture, where pay is highly correlated to performance and we pay generously for meeting and/or exceeding targets. That said, a challenging economy has made it more difficult to overachieve, so we have responded by increasing pay tiers for performance below target (while leaving the generous overperformance tiers in place) to ensure that our employees are rewarded for their hard work. We have also maintained headcount during a time in which many companies have elected to downsize, because we value our employees and the contributions they make each and every day. We utilize a value-based pricing methodology to ensure that our pros are fairly priced relative to their peer set and strive to continually evolve our products and services to meet the growing needs of both current and prospective pros. Over the past year, we have tested alternative product offerings as well as purchased new assets in order to offer a more robust platform and package to our pros in the near-term.
