Pros

There are lots of intelligent employees who want to work together and support each other. Many employees engage with one another in social events. Pay is competitive with industry standards.

Cons

1. The CEO claims he wants the employees to have a healthy work-life balance, although some or most of the C-Suite levels determine how frequent employees come into the office due to "what is competitive to industry standards". Take a step back and ask yourself, "what does this mean?" What is the purpose behind a employee engagement survey if a few group of high level individuals, who make incredibly high salaries, have to dictate a MAJOR factors toward many other employee's worklife balance? That is not engaging with employees. Please stop excusing yourself with the hybrid and Astrak BS by saying, "we need to stay at the forefront of our work, what other companies do, and do what is necessary to move foreward" when you are not allowing your employees to be brash and candid with their thoughts. people are afraid to be transparent because they do not want to be let go or fired. 2. The COO...is a REALLY unaware and egotistical guy. His leadership has been abysmal with the public knowledge of Renaissance. He believes that by hiring outside management and praising their experience, having employees work Saturdays, sharing the intricacies that this project has been ON HIM, and claiming HOW GREAT the company has done, can lead to people that can understand him. What he is not aware of, is that his pride is his downfall. He needs to acknowledge that he has been a part of the failure for leading the project and step out of the role, instead of staying to make a good name for himself, and putting many employees in a position of paranoia and fear to complete a project with unrealistic deadlines. It was supposed to be launched in 2022 and was changed, recently from early october 2025 to spring or summer 2026. That is another drastic shift in a deadline. 3. Some senior leadership can be micromanagers or not sympathize with employees. However there are some leaders who do a great job at listening to their peers and providing guidance. 4. I question the CSO's belief, or someone related in a higher position in IT, to require all employees to download the messaging and email apps to your cell phone. That is some big brother behavior.

Pros

Recent changes have brought the company back into alignment with security focused posture. Interim CISO under Ben Le has been a breath of fresh air and as we continue to return to security first as our mission and move into a better posture, the morale has significantly improved. Ben has steadied the ship, put more trust in our executive leaders, and given them significantly more of a voice in our concerns. Since the change was made to move the former CISO, a lot of our senior leaders on the security side seem to have been revitalized, less are looking to leave, and all are rallying behind Ben Le who was trained by industry stalwart and legend Mark Morrison.

Cons

Currently, things are moving in the right direction. Our departure from security as a primary function will take some time to gain full re-alignment.

Pros

There is nothing great to highlight about. Just okay company. Average benefits and work culture. Lot of technologies and complex business domain, so good for anyone who wants to learn ignoring cons.

Cons

Small company but with over 100 Project and Portfolio Management resources. Many come from non-technical backgrounds and just create chaos when they are actually expected to improve coordination. They have no clue of what's going around. Overall, processes are completely disorganized, it is a mess. The company's small size also means limited opportunities to move between teams. With few management layers, some promotions to Director and Executive Director happen quickly, sometimes without the necessary skills and capabilities. Attrition is high at all levels, including executives, with senior leaders leaving regularly. As a result, each new leader often introduces a different vision and direction, leading to frequent shifts in priorities and a lack of organizational stability. This is often labeled as "continuous transformation". Communication and collaboration need significant improvement. Lot of people are attention seekers rather than being productive so you would often find unproductive meetings. The culture has become increasingly political, with some leaders driving their own agendas. Compensation is okay, but they offer no stock options, making the overall package less competitive than many comparable companies.
