Pros
If you are willing to relocate every couple of years, you can move up fairly quickly within the company.
Cons
I started with the company at their St. Louis Distribution center right when Ingersoll Rand took over. Shortly after that, several factories were shut down across the nation and the production was moved to facilities in Mexico. This lead to a significant increase in lead times and a decrease in product quality. About a year later I took a position with one of the Southern sales offices. It was amazing how frivolously money was spent at this office. It seemed like the main sales strategy that was encouraged was to just schmooze customers, without actually developing relationships. Some of their most loyal customers, no longer do business with them. It has been over 3 years since I have worked for them and I only know two people who are still with the company. Things could have gotten better, but I really can't say for sure.
