Pros

-Very interesting work, engineering focused -Talented and knowledgeable engineers, easy to work with. -Improving in areas it had problems before A lot of really interesting engineering work at Trident with engineers having different backgrounds to bring to the table. Trident has a good set of CAD tools and electronics lab for a small company. Their seems to have been some good changes in the past year or so to fix problems that have been around, like with BD and middle management. Work seems to be on the upswing from the '09-'12 years, and there are a lot of internal research and development projects going on.

Cons

-Project management seems disorganized -Communication from senior management is lacking, though this seems to be getting better Lack of project planning often results in everything being one fire drill after another, making it hard for the engineers to do our job. It is sometimes hard to really know what is going on with the company because the senior management keeps silent. Some of the turn over in the past few years and it seems to be getting a little bit better, but knowing what contracts or upcoming work is there is still an issue.

Pros

Trident is a strong company creating transformative technologies. I have had the opportunity to grow and try many different aspects of my job over my time at Trident through strong mentoring and guidance from my management. Since the acquisition by LightRidge Solutions, we have been afforded even more opportunities to grow and work alongside our sister companies. Employees have greater insight into job growth and opportunities as the company has grown. Trident is a great place for engineers looking to prove their skill sets and climb the ladder quickly.

Cons

As Trident has grown, more engineers have joined who do not understand the vision/mission for the company, and act like it's something it isn't (a place to focus on themselves, a place where they are entitled to promotions without being better than their peers, a place where they make the business decisions for the company). This makes it hard for those of us working to build strong technological foundations that can transform our industry.

Pros

Good benefits, decent pay and overall good company to work for. Based on team your experience can be good or worst

Cons

Management is micro-managing nowadays! Lot of processes and layers are getting added
