Pros

Firstly, it's the people. The team spirit and collective effort are what set us apart. The camaraderie among us is authentic and noticeable. Additionally, it's our vision. How many of you can say you work for a company that practices what it preaches and invests in its employees? Being part of a team where I see the dedication and careful consideration put into every decision is truly remarkable. Every choice is made with the team's well-being in mind. Moreover, it's our dedication to inclusivity and fostering a sense of belonging for all. Everyone wants to feel valued and heard. While we are at the early stages of this journey, our leadership is committed to not only investing financially but also dedicating time and attention to make sure everyone feels included. Lastly, we know how to have fun. Work can be demanding at times, but we have found a way to work hard and enjoy the journey. Since we spend a significant amount of time at work, having fun and finding joy in the journey is a must for us.

Cons

The manual processes, though admittedly inconsistent, offer a chance for improvement. Our manual processes disrupt the team's workflow, leading to errors and extra duties. To manage these issues, workarounds are put in place, which in turn generate more work. The differing approaches to tasks also contribute to increased workload. Recognizing this as an opportunity, we are actively seeking innovative technological solutions to streamline our processes and set up best practices for a more efficient work environment.

Pros

Benefits are strong. Free parking in the city. Tons of free food in the break room and food brought in every Monday/Friday. Upward mobility and visibility from senior leadership is also a plus. If you are good at your job, and can demonstrate that well, you can move up.

Cons

This year has brought some distasteful changes. Trimont’s pace and rate of change is on the cusp of being unsustainable. Leadership seems scattered as asks are made then changed multiple times while timelines do not. It’s a “hurry up and do for the sake of doing” situation. Recently, leadership restructured position titles and it caused some members of the organization to drop up to two levels (Executive Director to Associate Director) for no reason aside from positions being “redefined”. This could have been handled during the acquisition that took place in March 2025 but in what is seeming to be typical Trimont fashion, it was done again because the first round was inadequately done in haste. Additionally, Trimont leadership threatened to remove hybrid work policies and enforce 5 days in the office a week during a town hall. Badge reports, verbal communication, and written communications have been sent out encouraging employees that they need to be in the office Tuesday - Thursday, for a full 8 hours. There also is no mention of or support for mental health provided by the culture. Employees are given a free membership to headspace but I’ve never heard anyone from senior leadership asking about it.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are pleased that the benefits, on-site perks, and growth opportunities have positively influenced your experience at Trimont. We also recognize your concerns regarding the pace of change, recent restructuring, and in-office expectations. This year has been one of transition, and we understand the importance of clarity and consistency. To clarify, our leadership has not communicated that we would be enforcing a five-day-per-week in-office schedule. At the most recent Town Hall, leadership indicated that we will continue to evaluate our approach and will revisit the possibility of a four-day in-office schedule in the future. At this time, there is no immediate need to change our current hybrid schedule, which is working well. We remain committed to supporting our team and communicating transparently and thoughtfully as we move forward. Your feedback is valuable in helping us improve.
