Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. As a rapidly-growing company, we are intentionally entrepreneurial, seeking new opportunity spaces, making investments, testing the market, and moving on when necessary. "Failing fast" is a well-tested concept in this space, as articulated best, perhaps, by Eric Ries in his book, The Lean Startup. I realize to an engineer invested in a project, it can feel a little chaotic, and perhaps like we "never give an idea enough time to incubate." It is possible you are correct. It is also possible that your perspective is not informed by the full business picture. Our revenues the last four years have been $11M, $14M, $33M, and $38M, and we are poised this year to push the $50M mark, so it seems at face value that the market is giving us positive feedback and that the business strategy we are pursuing is working. But, hey, I'm only the CEO, so what do I know? Seriously, we have a very transparent leadership team and we're open to criticism. I invite a conversation on where you think we're headed astray. In any case, so long as you're still with us, I hope we can do a better job of articulating the whys and wherefores of what we're doing, and that we can regain your confidence. Cheers!

Pros

Work is flexible with plenty of opportunities to train and grow. The people I work with are great and generally happy to be here. The company does well to find the right place to fit you in, leveraging your strengths.

Cons

Contractors are generally looked down on by government employees and occassionally you have to deal with some interesting personalities

Thanks for taking the time to give feedback--both pro and con. The bulk of UNCOMN's services are to government agencies. Unfortunately, the tendency you describe is an unavoidable element in most government contracting, yet we can (and should) mitigate that on our side. If you have ideas on how we can do that better, don't hesitate to stop by and let me know.

Pros

Great leadership, transparency, benefits. I had a wonderful experience working at UNCOMN for about 3 years. Top leadership genuinely care about the company/employees and, if you show interest /actually put the work in, they help you advance your career. When I talked to upper management / C-suite about my new opportunity that I was taking, they were genuinely happy for me because I thought it was good for me. They also said I always have a place there if I want to return. I give my strongest recommendation to this company.
