Company is going the wrong direction - Software Developer USAA Employee Review

USAA is working on a modernization program to 'organize' their data. However instead of building in house they are using 3rd party vendors that have massive problems within themselves. Project deadlines and goals are constantly changing. If you just spend 2 years working on a code base, it can get thrown out tomorrow because they want to chase a new shiny ball instead. Leaders are working in a dog eat dog environment trying to defend their own territory as cost over runs are excessive, and upper leadership is starting to see the cracks in the foundations they've laid.
