Pros
They definitely offer you options to do a wide range of positions within the system. Good Management ‘can’ be a hit or miss, typically you can just go lateral to avoid the bad ones. Your paid leave is awesome if you don’t get a lot of low census.
Cons
They don’t do bonuses unless it’s system wide. Your raises depend on your boss ‘liking’ you. Half percent incentive to go above and beyond ‘if’ your boss feels like you are awesome. Basically you stay here for stability of keeping a job but don’t expect great healthcare benefits (crazy for working in healthcare, you pay what everyone else does)
