Pros

Hands on skills and great experience. Great people you work with. Benefits are overall pretty good.

Cons

Management runs you to the ground. Expects a lot and will overload you with tasks. Pay is very low for what we do and not possible for a raise. Required to work every other holiday and weekend and scheduling if very hard as well as getting time off.

Pros

Work from home 50% of the time. The PTO accrual is decent. I enjoy not working nights/weekends. Seems to be good job security.

Cons

Can feel micromanaged. Not much room for growth within the team. Annual raises are subpar.

Pros

Able to work remotely, there are a variety of shifts and the company works very hard to ensure you are comfortable in your role prior to being released from training

Cons

No matter how well you do at best you will receive a 3 percent raise yearly. The holiday shifts depending on your shift. Unless you are day shift you will be working the majority of the holidays.

Some pros, but more cons

Pros

Worked with some great people who are intelligent, motivated and hard working. Company has a strong culture and it is rewarding working in healthcare. Highly flexible work environment with remote work.

Cons

Pay is far below market average. Raises are below cost of living and there is no incentive to work hard (less than 3% every year) Company is solely focused on the clinical side, and no investments are made to corporate and system services employees. Limited to no professional development, networking or learning opportunities for corporate employees. Extremely difficult to move up and receive an above standard raise. There are constant changes with the healthcare industry and senior leadership changes often. The systems cuts costs at every corner - No travel, conferences, off sites. Several teams are severely understaffed and people are expected to work extra hours to make up for this.
