Pros

What better job is there than inventing theme park rides? The company is full of talented people, and everyone is Type A high acheiver.

Cons

With a house full of Type A personalities, there is bound to be friction. That should be expected. The people who excel and last at the company year after year are the ones who manage to rise above the high school drama and focus on the work.

Pros

Everything was wonderful! I always had support from leadership when dealing with difficult situations, I never had an issue getting time off when I needed it, and overall the job was so much fun!

Cons

Main thing is that you are required to work 2 out of the three big holidays (at least when I was there) between thanksgiving, Christmas and new years. So that was sometimes difficult.

Pros

Benefits, discounts, air conditioning, some cool people.

Cons

Don’t believe them when they say they’re watching out for you. As soon as they decide they’re going to lay you off, all leadership disappears. Scared to face their own decisions. Nobody will fight for you, nobody will be there for you. They say you’re part of a family, and you are, you’re just the stepchild nobody likes. You’ll love your office job here when you get it and you’ll think you’re in the role of a lifetime. Ultimately, they’re just like every other corp. Lots of shiny things and buzz words, but empty and soulless.
