There is a hiring process, but even if the hiring committee finds someone suitable, the president, President Astrid Tuminez and her Cabinet chooses who they want overall. They veto everyone and if you speak up to the president, she takes on retaliation and makes it hard for you to move up and makes it miserable to work there, so you want to leave. ESPECIALLY if you are a person of color.
