Upper management feels completely detached and only shows up to tighten control instead of helping people grow. People keep their heads down, stop speaking up, and count the days until they can leave. When most of the capable staff are actively looking for exits, it tells you everything you need to know. People who have options leave fast, which says more than any company pitch ever could.
