Pros

The team I worked with directly was genuinely capable and hardworking. I only wish the rest of the organization understood or valued what we were building.

Cons

• Each team operated in isolation with little to no real information sharing. • Strong work was repeatedly duplicated or undermined because teams lacked visibility into each other’s efforts. • Projects often stalled due to unclear or poorly communicated handoffs. • Those in charge showed little urgency in fixing ongoing communication breakdowns. • Meetings frequently lacked context because key information was not shared across departments. • The structure made real collaboration nearly impossible, leaving individuals to constantly bridge gaps alone.

Pros

Different projects provide opportunities to work with a variety of software solutions and business requirements. Expectations are realistic, and responsibilities are explained clearly from the beginning. Staff members are approachable whenever technical questions come up. The experience provides practical understanding that supports long-term technical growth.

Cons

The workload stays busy, and there is rarely much downtime during the day.

Pros

Vasion has the potential to be a truly great company. The senior executive team talks often about culture, growth, and innovation, and there are pockets of genuinely talented people who care about the work. The company wants to scale and build something meaningful, and the vision at the top reflects that.

Cons

The biggest issue is the toxic behavior coming from several Director and Senior Director–level managers. These leaders frequently micromanage, intimidate, and create an environment where employees feel controlled rather than supported. This behavior is widely known across teams and has been raised multiple times through the proper channels. Unfortunately, HR and senior leadership have not taken meaningful action to address these concerns. Employees often express that issues are dismissed, minimized, or never followed up on. When patterns of bullying and micromanagement go unaddressed, it sends a clear message that this behavior is tolerated — even when it directly contradicts the culture the company claims to value. This disconnect creates a slow erosion of trust and morale. The company wants to grow, but the toxicity at the middle‑management layer is becoming a cultural barrier that will continue to limit progress.
