Very Slow and Unorganized

Pros

Southern Utah is nice but not in the summer time

Cons

I wish I hadn't taken the job. If you're looking to join Vasion, take my advice and don't believe all the hype and promises they'll sell you upfront. Once you get on the inside, it's a strange and awkward tech company. Work is split between two competing directives, with resources spread too thin between each other. The company doesn't know who it wants to be, PrinterLogic or Vasion. Development is also way too slow and unorganized. Leaders don't actively manage, they just swoop in, shovel a load of hype, then swoop back out.

Pros

Great co-workers and middle management. Facilities are nice to come to work in.

Cons

Please see PrinterLogic reviews for a more accurate sample size. Beware of the 5 stars, cut them in half. Employees were highly encouraged with a GDoor blitz of positive reviews to up their score on the new company name. The executive team is devised of a "boys club" that pat each other on the back while spewing toxicity throughout the company. If you're not drinking the Wedig/Carter kool-aid, kissing the narcissistic ring or "fit the mold" you won't last long. Heaven forbid you have a difference of opinion or suggest how something could work better. If it's not the CEO's idea, don't even bother making a suggestion. There's zero diversity. They play favorites, HR is not there to protect you but to protect the company. There's zero concept of loyalty so don't expect any and nobody is ever "safe". I feel so bad for the CRO, he could have been great but succumbed to the kool-aid as well and very quickly became a yes man. FYI, anonymous surveys are not so anonymous, beware.

Pros

-Some brilliant employees -Full-time remote from anywhere -Trying to move towards more interesting tech stacks -Company growth potential is very high

Cons

-Severely overworked managers and PMs -No concrete progress towards resolving known issues -Difficult to get help from anyone when necessary, for almost everything -Application training is a disaster -Entire company success hinges on about 5 people with all the tribal knowledge -"Productivity Metrics" encourage rushed, untested code and avoiding any company contributions outside of finishing tasks, potentially damaging relationships with clients -On the Printerlogic side, you will likely be tasked with working with incredibly old, niche printing technology at some point, which can be frustrating -Lateral moves are incredibly difficult -"OKRs" aren't popular, ever
