No Appreciation - Assistant Front Office Manager Viceroy Employee Review

As an Assistant Front Office Manager, I often worked long hours, and had an inconsistent work schedule from week to week. I've come in on my days off to cover numerous shifts, including night audit, and never once said no. After 8 months, my position was "eliminated" due to my manager's promotion and "departmental restructuring." I was told this decision was not performance based. The best part? All I received was a hand shake as I walked out the door - not even so much as a thank you. I gave 100%, and didn't get back one ounce of appreciation on my way out. What a shame.
