Pros

Some very good people work here. I enjoyed time with warm, friendly colleagues.

Cons

The corporate office is a cold, sterile, unwelcoming place. The CEO is unpredictable and likes to frequently launch into loud tirades for the office to hear. A toxic culture has ensued with patronizing attempts by HR to improve moral. The nail on the coffin for me was after one year, I learned people working beneath me were making much more money.

Pros

This hotel is a growing company with many beautiful luxurious properties. Great bayview cafeteria for employees to take break (food is low quality). Activities set in place for employees, Christmas party, Summer party, fitness class about once a week etc. Good entry level hotel.

Cons

The staff are uninspired but most have great potential. No real valuable incentives to employees working hard are given. There is a lack of personal skills when it comes to management. Parking is not provided one is given a $50 credit for a parking garage/metro monthly that is very pricey, leaving employees to take the metro late nights passing 11:30PM, which becomes a nuisance. No training available, managment seems to be pre-occuppied with other departments/things leaving the front desk employees with the short-end of the stick.
