      Pros

      Small hotel group, not a stifling corporate environment. You can act autonomously. Great luxury brand in the lifestyle market. They provide a great product.

      Cons

      Small hotel group. Initiatives are sometimes unclear. Corporate can sometimes make decisions that miss the mark. As a small player in the luxury market management contracts can come and go.

      My team - only people who appreciated my efforts

      As an Assistant Front Office Manager, I often worked long hours, and had an inconsistent work schedule from week to week. I've come in on my days off to cover numerous shifts, including night audit, and never once said no. After 8 months, my position was "eliminated" due to my manager's promotion and "departmental restructuring." I was told this decision was not performance based. The best part? All I received was a hand shake as I walked out the door - not even so much as a thank you. I gave 100%, and didn't get back one ounce of appreciation on my way out. What a shame.

      Pros

      Gorgeous place, great location in downtown Miami with strong corporate standards values that are not consistently applied which shows through a low employees moral most of the time and inconsistent customers' satisfaction

      Cons

      Not yet able to find out their identity, constant changes , high turnover with every positions levels hourly or salary, FOH or BOH, major inconsistency in service and products provided
